Any one bought and fitted these mirrors to their Datsun's? Like the look of them but not sure how they look on a ute. Any pics would be appreciated, cheers.

Never seen those on a 1200 Ute.... But in saying that I'm ordering them now for mine. Will post pics when I have them fitted. My old aftermarket ones had plastic nut clip things that broke off in high wind. I like these with the metal plate inside the door.

I have just fitted these to my coupe, after positioning them and drilling some holes I realised that the position that the bracket ended up did not allow for the plate to be installed in the door. Tried to install with out the plate and I couldn't get my hand in the door to put the bolts in the holes.

I cracked the #OOPS#s and drilled through bracket and counter sunk bolts and bolted directly to the door.

You get what you pay for with these mirrors, for $15 each I'm not complaining. They do the job and they do look respectable but if I was going for any form of quality I would not purchase these mirror as the bracket looks like it's been finished with a coarse file or a grinder.
