My tip is to buy a 'Ball joint tie rod separator' tool. I beat on mine with hammers and what ever other tools I could find in my garage for about a week (on and off) with no success. Also tried a Freeze spray with no luck. Finally gave in and paid for the right tool and it was apart in a matter of minutes.

I separated mine at the green joint in your pic.
