hi guys...
im about the replace the thermistor (low fuel warning light sensor) for B310 a12.
And when im comparing the fuel sender with the one from A15 EGI, i've noticed one extra sensor fitted to egi unit.
Im very curious to know what is this and its function.

It's a low fuel sensor, if you don't have a warning lamp for low fuel, don't worry about it, it will still work as it is supposed to.

Hi. Thanks for the reply. The low fuel sensor is the thermistor type at the bottom which available in both senders. But im asking for the part which I circled in green.

The part circled in green is the weight.
The Introduction Of B310 GXE book discusses the sensor in some detail, if you can read Japanese.

Hi guys.
Happen to chat with one very number nice Japanese gentleman.
He's guessing the weight unit is to cut off the current to the electric fuel pump in the event of accident where the car turtle turned or side turned.
Any suggestions......

I doubt it is act as fuel pump cut off switch. If it is, fuel pump will stop working while hard acceleration, braking and cornering right...?
