Hi guys

Im Ziyaad, from sunny Cape Town South Africa

I currently own two Nissan/Datsun vehicles

1. Nissan Sabre SR20VE
2. Datsun Sunny truck A14

Welcome to the club!

It looks like a B140, 1982-1984, before they changed to the tall roof. We don't have too many details on these, can you provide a photo of the 'DATSUN 1400' sticker which is just in front of the door?

This is registered as a 1980 model. It has the front drum brakes and the 4 speed gearbox. Its an original A14 as per the plate which is found inside the engine bay (VIN number etc.)

Yes you are correct in saying that its the "low roff" model, which are highly sort after here in SA.

Here is the pic you requested :)

I managed to fid this steering for R100 (About $8), im not too sure what type of steering it is, but it has "Made in italy" embossed on the back. I was assuming its a Nardi Torino steering?

Whatever brand it is, it looks good.

Thanks for the photo. Does your ID plate say "B140" or "B120"?
