I have a Nissan A15 engine with a 3 speed auto box can anyone tell me more about it and could it be change for a 4 speed? If so what type would I have to look for?

Yes it can be changed for a manual, need to gather the conversion parts etc.
What car is it in?

What Datsun is the engine and box in? Once I establish this then I can give you some more info.

Hi Paul, yes if this is for your Midget, use a 4-speed or 5-speed from a B310 with A14/A15 engine (the A12-engine cars use a weaker 4-speed). See Manual transmission conversion.

If you're after a 4 speed auto then I think there's a conversion for that to, it's here somewhere on the site but I don't remember where.
