I finally got around to finishing the next iteration of my exhaust design, seems to fit around my intake manifold. Lots of welding involved but it can use standard but weld fittings.

I might try 3D printing the exhaust manifold to see how it fits on the engine/ turbo. I haven't had a lot of luck printing big stuff before.....

I think I'm almost ready to get some parts made, I'm getting some bends soon I'll just need to measure the pipe OD and make sure it suits the model before moving ahead. Can anyone suggest a cnc machinist in the Adelaide area?

Just saw your screen shot of the turbo manifold. When I made mine for my A12 manifold I used some short radius 90deg steam bends which will help shorten your number 1&4 runner length. Just a thought.

Thanks, you just made me look at it another way. I might have another go at it before I make it. So many things to balance up.

It's been a long time since I posted but I have made some small progress. I made the flanges for the upper part of the manifold on my new little mill. I'm learning so I buggered it up a bit but it's still serviceable. Now just the plenum, pipes and manifold flanges.

One side has a recess cut to hold Orings, the idea being I can easy pop it off to get to the rocker cover/ rockers etc.
