What year Falcon? Over here we only got Falcons 1960-1970

DD Let me start by saying I've never been a Ford fan BUT
Aussie designed and built Falcons were made here up until recently
The AU was the ugly duckling but had a straight 6 which was pretty bullet proof.
( that why all the Taxis used to used them )
This was followed up by the BA which had and equally impresive straight six
that could be boosted to the moon
Both IMO would not win any beauty pagents but super cheap and ultra reliable.
Any welcome to correct me as I am not a Ford aficionado.

Although never a fan of the Taxi cars of Australia Ford or Holden
(DD slang wise both are referred as taxis due to superv8 sedan class)
I will also agree uglier Fords were always more reliable and always
made better original L6 donks that were even the old crossflow 6
is exported to Murica to replace Mustangs all cast iron sixes
as they can be boosted and make more hp than any NA v8.
Either way Ive always found each to be classless and tacky and
infinitely less reliable than a boring white goods toyota camry.

Mick my brother in law who lives in Sydney had a 96 failcon that
never failed in fact it did 650+ thousand kms and was still going
strong till a few months ago when they received a 2016 Toyota
Alphard Vellfire with modelista bodykit. He had it under his name
in Japan for a year and imported it as a personal import.
After driving a similar based model here I will never bother buying
a sedan again. Its vans or anything you can step in and out
without getting a hernia after an all you can eat buffet :)

There are so many here its crazy good, vans Ive never thought existed
but in Oz I wouldnt overlook an old vanette with an A12 or A15 they
are good jiggas and are rarely restored which is a shame they do
command big moneys here and the other I love is the old Urvans
with the H20 motors and even the smaller Serena which can be fitted
with a sr16ve like some have been done here and gas suspension they
look awesome and never seen done up in Oz which is a shame as they
come standard with an sr20de and often 5 speed manual.
