I ran the 1000 coupe at phillip island last weekend and did extremely well. (i think) For times check out the link. I am no#51. Good to se a Datto shut down a couple of porsches' a ferarri ect.... an absolute hoot.

Good to see your having fun with it.
Aren't you glad you saw the error in your ways and decided to keep it.
I am still waiting on photos though........brakes particularly.
What sort of lap times are you doing at particular circuits.? I'd like to compare them to the lap times I have logbooked on my car.

Does that sprite run the 1275 or an a series datto engine?

And yes Cam and i were in the first group out and the only one to get a dry lap..... however it began raining on our second lap.

BMC engine hey? Oh well Im sure it would last as many laps as the A.

I believe it is an MGB engine in steve Crombies sprite.

The A13 is still on the engine stand awaiting some parts for the head. I am changing the titanium valves for 214N in the interests of reliability.
The L16 engine has come out of my sunny coupe parts chaser and been swapped for an L20. Ive been sorting that out so I can come and have a run at Sandown.

Are you and Cam going there?
