Hi, Check with Craig but I think there are one particular brand of 14" rim that goes over his conversion. I think they are performance challengers? Cheers. Adam.

I thought the old 2" bigger rule was gone and now its overall rolling diameter that counts. Either way i'm screwed cause im running 15's with 235/60 on them

i thought regency was inline with the rest of australia and only cared about widthand rolling diameter not height of the rim, so as long as the rim was 15 x 5 it would be ok or 14 x 5 but not 14 x 6 etc.

if you say you need the wheels for the safety of upgraded brakes, chances are they will want brake testing etc of the car whichposes more headaches as they will meassure track of the front vs rear wheel track and suspension travel etc.

which maddat kit have you got? if you get some 14's withthe right offset they may fit.

performance rims are the way to go because they have the right offset

You will find in the fine print for NSW and I'm sure most other states. It is 2inches bigger in rolling diameter. But add brakes etc off another car and the biggest legal size is now determined off the donor car plus 2inches. Same goes for wheel track etc.
If you read the guidelines carefully there is a lot of technicalities you can get away with that are all legal.
I can link the relevent page from NSW RTA if it is desired.

Guys, I've got 17x6.5 with 205x40 tyres on my 1200 UTE, Fully legal through Regency. but my car has also been engeneered with them. There is no scrub, the tyres are under the gaurds, and the front is over track. If you do a complete car and re-work all your suspension, and brakes, do the tests, then the inspection is a walk in the park.
