Has anyone used a NISMO sway bar in their 1200? Just wondering if this is stock specs or if it's a b210/120y bar. Any reviews? Thanks all.

Mine are the Addco brand , 7/8 front 1/2 rear I believe. (I got them in 1990) The stock front bar is something like 5/8ths. The car has very good balance so I would recommend them. Just be sure you buy both front and rear together.

Looks like this is the 7/8 ADDCO bar as well. I was under the impression that a rear sway bar wasn't needed for most street applications? True? Thanks for the response.

You need the set............the bigger front bar is going to make it understeer (push). A set of sway bars is probaly the biggest single improvement you can make to our cars. They're worth every penny.

ah ok, that makes sense. In that case, do you recall where you picked up your bars? NISMO parts only has the front listed on their web site. Thanks.

You should be able to get the bars direct from Addco and believe it or not JC Whitney (they stock Addco bars). Mine came from a place called Performance World in San Diego. The guy there ran a 1200 in Imporved Touring at SCCA events.
Theoretically cars do not need sway bars.........proper spring rates and long trailing arms shoudl negate this BUT since our cars are built to a price econo boxes..........Theory doesn't pan out.
Buy the set you won't regret it , pair that up with a good set of dampers/shocks and you'll be amazed at the differance.
