well i reacntly joined the 1200 club because i just found a 1972 datsun b110 "sunny" coupe for 900$. i have had it for a couple of weeks and have been working on it. the first thing i did was take the interior out because my floor board had been rusted out. i then switched out the stock 12inch rims to 14inch 280zx rims and put bigger profile tires on the back. i have some honda prelude seats that i am still trying to make mounts for. i am also wet sanding and priming the shell so i can go have some one paint it. i had recently gotton a z24 engine from picknpull but found out after dismantling the thing that it blew up on the previous owner so in thinking about getting a ca18det for it and just carb it. i will update this from time to time. its great to meet people with the same kind of taste in cars.
**update** just found a z20(s) at picknpull today and found out how to put pictures so ill keep posting as i go along

9/6/11 - I have just put the engine in the car. The engine is being held up by a combonation of the old and new motor mounts. i had also foud a reversal electric fan that iam going to install as well as my water pump and radiator . i will try to post pics asap of the engine

What are the emission issues there with this age car?
Looks quite good with those wheels and bumperless.
keep it up, looking like a good project.

yea i just got te engine in and now i have to do some modifications cause when i make the transmission level the cam shaft pully hits the fron frame. i have put in the reversal fans and the radiator.
