Last week I put 1000 km on the old 1200.

After the car show, I went out to the coast. Here is the road from Portland over the mountains to the ocean.
Miles of forest ...

Nice stuff DD. Never been to the Pacific Ocean in America...only the Atlantic. Maybe someday.

and what an awesome cruiser to do it in. would have put a smile on the dial.

but a kink in the back

how long was that mountain climb for the exhaust to get so hot. was it running a bit lean too at altitude?

certainly some amazing views. If google maps looks
so impressive by air with so much water and forest
in that area, I still cant fathom the real beauty.
Im so tired of melbourne roads with all the rain
weve had there are potholes and undulations galore
in the last 2 years. I supposed I cant complain
compared to our Kiwi brothers but those roads and
bridges look like the best cruising you can do.

Only a good a12 will kill the exhaust :)
I had vibration fatique with similar results when
my muffler was loose and leveraged the stress on
the welds of the flange.
