Do lowering blocks affect the rear section of the handbrake cable? The two rear handbrake cables i've tried seem to be too short on the double wire side (if that makes sense)!

I also have problems with the handbrake cable resting on the rear shocks? Any ideas?

Its in a 1200 ute

Thanks

I just put lowering blocks in my ute yesterday and didn't have any dramas at all. I don't remember the handbrake cable being anywhere near the shocks to be honest.

the pic with the two rear ends, the one with the leafs (rear) is an H145 from a 1200 sedan. The one with with coil spring perches is from a 210 (b310).
In any case, on a sedan, adding blocks under the axle doesn't upset the handbrake cable. It only blocks easy access to the bleed screw. Nothing major, it just makes it a pain to get a hose on it when you bleed the brakes.

The rear section isnt connected to the front handbrake section at all atm, so dont think thats whats causing it?

From the pick of my diff does the handbrake lever on the drum look too rotated towards the front of the car, if you get what im saying?
