In 1979 just hitting my teen years I remained interested in
something I saw in some mail order catalogue product that had
these simple spark plug sleeves that created what i could gather
later as simple pre-chambers using the principles of Ricardo.
The seller guaranteed to improve the mileage and power from worn out
engines with low compression and to reduce oil burning.

About ten years ago I witnessed industrial petrol engines of inefficient designs
remedied with some ingenious spark plugs that had a similar principle.
I thought why not use these spark plugs on normal street engines?
A little fuel gets in these chambers then ignites and sends turbulent flames
out the little holes to then ignite the fuel in the combustion chamber.

Now I see F1 and even Mercedes Benz using pre chambers to improve
efficiency up to 50% from 38% Toyota achieved and got me wondering.

So why not use industrial sparkplugs for our street engines but with
higher compression ratios around 13 or 14 to 1 and use these cold
turbulent jet passive pre-combustion spark plugs?

Here are the plugs ive been thinking of

Some of these cheap industrial engines made in china come with these
pre chamber sparkplugs that are of very high quality yet the engine
itself has terrible casting with protrusions even on the combustion
chambers that would otherwise cause pre-ignition.

These plugs really are worth investigating....or at last resort would
like to get some brass sleeves made that could fit some 8-8.8mm motorbike
plugs that could be used and some 30 degree angled jet holes.
Depending on the volume could also be used for over shaved high comp heads.
