The Glove Box is also known as the glove compartment or cubby-hole takes up the passenger side of the Dashboard. Datsun 1200 uses a closing glovebox, with a hinged door (lid or cover). There are two areas to place cups on the inside of the lid.

NOTE: B210 glovebox does not fit the B110.

Box
The glove box is made out of heavy card stock, and stapled together. 3 pieces of card with 2 strips reinforcing the top and bottom edges.
Top edge: metal (riveted on). Bottom edge: paper (stapled on)

For the 1972 JDM facelift the lid cover was restyled. The hinge and inside appears to be a continuation.
