The wheel bearings require lubrication every two years or so.

Front Wheel Bearings
The front wheel bearings fit in the Hub. Bearings for drum hub and disc hub are the same.

Tightening
1. Tighten large nut moderately, while spinning the hub. Use pliers and not a wrench so that the nut is not tightened to excess.
2. Back off on the nut, then tighten lightly with fingers only (no wrench)
The FSM says to tighten to 16 lb-ft, spin the hub both directions, re-tighten, then back off the nut 40-70 degrees. Ensure rotating effort is 3-7 inch-pounds.
Packing
You can buy a special tool to pack the wheel bearing with new grease, but many of us find it is just as easy to do by hand.
Covering the hand with a plastic bag makes it neat and clean.
If evidence of an external grease leak is seen, fit a new wheel bearing seal:

The change matches the general H74 suspension change of Hub, Spindle and bearings. B120 (1200 pickup) and B210 (120Y) was changed at the same time.

Rear Wheel Bearings
The rear wheel bearings are not easily replaced as they are pressed onto the axle shaft. They should be repacked often.
