Sunny models after the B310 (B11,B12,B13,B14,B15,B16,B17) are FWD. Corolla models starting with the E80 were FWD except for E85/E86 which were still RWD -- so Corolla E85/E86 wins.

- B110 racing debut: November 22, 1970 Fuji Speedway 200. On race day, in the first corner is was Corollas, 1 2 and 3. However, on the last corner, the Sunny slipped in and it was all over. Victory for Sunny!
- November 23, 1973 Grand Champion fifth race Fuji Speedway Victory 200. Sunny is Defeated by DOHC Toyota in the TS-MT (Minor Touring) class.
1973: The day that lives in infamy, as the Sunny sweep comes to an end at the hands of the Toyota Starlet DOHC 4-valve engine.
