The PB110 Sunny 1400 steering gearbox looks similar to the regular 1200's steering box, but the bolt points are reversed. All the parts are different. The internal parts are from Datsun 510. The PB110 OPTION box is the same as Datsun 510 OPTION.

Overview
- 3-bolt frame-to-gearbox mounting looks same as B110, but is reversed
- Gearbox is same as Datsun 510 RHD, column differs
- Uses Datsun 510 gearbox arm, probably requires use of larger B210/B310 cross rod
- The ratio may be different than B110
- PB110: 3-bolt housing cover, 3-bolt column/worm shaft flange
- B110: 4-bolt housing cover, 4-bolt column/worm shaft flange
The GL and GX models were fitted with collapsible column and separate gearbox.

The collapsible safety column is a Datsun 510 RHD OPTION gearbox housing.

Rigid Steering Gearbox & Column
This differs from a 510 gearbox only in the column and (more importantly) the worm gear shaft, which is the inner column shaft to which the steering wheel bolts.
This box can be coverted to separate box from the column with two parts from a 510 OPTION box (see next section).

This box is the same as Datsun 510 RHD OPTION gearbox housing:
