Datsun 1200 uses wiper motor with two speeds: Slow and Normal. What can be done to make it faster and slower? Many Jideco 3-post motors can be made to work with the 1200 linkage.

Honda Wiper Motor Upgrade

[untested] 1995 Honda Del Sol wiper motor $76 Rockauto

Faster speed + intermittent possible. The 1200 arm bolts to it. The 1200 bracket may need to be modified to clear the side of the motor (though genuine Honda may fit without modification)

Wires are different, cut the motor wires and graft on the 1200 connector. Possibly use the intermittent switch and amplifier from a Datsun 1200 with Intermittent Wipers.

Mazda Wiper Motor Upgrade

DimeQuarterly has a nice article on modifying the 1984-1987 Mazda 626 (Capella/Telstar) wiper motor or 1985 Mazda GLC (RWD 323) wiper motor to work on a Datsun. Reportedly, it has two speeds: normal and fast.

A 1968 Datsun 510 splined arm may work instead of modifying the 1200 arm.
