Re: Toyota k40 gearbox swap... the hard way. cheap it will be, And that is the reason I did it, a gearbox shop quoted my R1500.00 to overhaul my Nissan box, and it already got overhauled not 10000 Km ago.... They saw me coming on that one. only expenses on this hole effort is the new prop-shaft and a refit on the clutch-plate... total not more than R900.
well OK a couple of welding rods and some electricity as well....
