Hi there.
Nice ute.
Keep it nice and clean and you will get lots of compliments.
Like the wheels and the color.Good choices.
To get to your engine question.
I would reccommend the following, depending on how much you want to spend if it is a standard A12 engine:
1. 32/36 weber carb
2. gasflow and port the head.
3. 276 performance cam to still keep it drivable in town.
4. lightened flywheel and balanced.

If you want to spend more:
1. Recondition engine and balance all internals.
2. 40mm sidedraught webers.

It all depends how much you want to spend.
Make your calculations first and then decide.
I wanted to do a A15 conversion but chose not to due to cost.

 Re: my ute
The paint job is a 2pak gunmetal grey respray, It set me back $1400 and that was 4 everythin including a detailed engine bay. The wheels i got on her now r 16inch speedy wheels. I had 17inch BSA wheels(look in tha pic wid my mates coomodore)but got defected. The new wheels set me back $1550. i get lotsa completments about the colour. It looks much betta in full sunlight. When i get a chance ill post sum pics of the interior.... The badge i got on tha front is a NISSAN badge, it was on there when i bought it!!!

Hey, looks good, but I'm not seeing any side indicators either, or mirrors for that matter.

What's the go Tommy? Is there one on the drivers side only maybe?

Keeeeeeeeeeep the fuzzy dice.
Fuzzy dice are cool & i still have them in my 200B. My 18 year old son liked them too, so he has them in his Skyline.
No. 2 son does not have his licence yet, but he has a nice little 120Y, & he will get fuzzy dice as a present when he passes his test.

We dont just talk old school, we're still repeating it.

Mmmmmmmm, fuzzy dice.

 Re: my ute
it had 2.5 inch lowering blocks in the back but i got a defect 4 been 2 low so now i hav 1.5 inch blocks in it so it sits a bit higher, which i hate but i cant do much. Im looking at putting either a bigger dato engine in or gettin webbers and a cam.It currently has extractors and cold air intake and a 2.5inch exhaust the whole way through. Anybody know wat a good price 4 a 5 speed gear box 4 my ute would be????

 Re: my ute
Well heres another view. I kinda like the high steppin' look with the big diameter wheels. Particularly on commercial styles, but it can look good with the right wheels, on any of the 1200's. Thats my story anyway.
