This is the current toy. It's 1600 cc A15 engine makes it VERY hard to catch.

yes,i run in the same class, which is improved production 0-1600 cc's.my last event last year,i was out in the same run as chris,i think i was in the first pair,& he was in the fourth, out of 8 cars.i did one standing lap & one flying lap,& while i had cleared out on the turbo gemini sedan i was running against,by the end, chris was closing in very quickly.thats 5 cars he would have passed in two laps.also,it was a slow day,lap times being 1 second slower than usual.i'd like to see chris run against the john taylor coupe sometime, would be an interesting match up.

at last a good photo off mr petersons coupe.i've been trying to get a good shot for a while & never can.good to see it.this car does 52 second lap times around oran park south,78 seconds round wakefield park,& is seriously quick. chris (yes another one) is a gentleman of the highest caliber.if the other coupe is going to go racing,i think this one will still be quicker.so he can lend it to me while he's sorting out the new one.

p.s. whats the go with all the lawn mowers in the background?

I'm glad that you like the photo.
This is much more than just a service station & used lawnmowers are just another string to the business bow.
When you run a business in a small community like here, you need to tap every revenue stream that you can.

Thank you for joining in as i have writen that this one is seriously fast, but coming from just one voice, it could be just rhetoric.
Do you compete in the same class?

This looks like possibly being the most popular Datsun 1200 & 120Y colour of all as it keeps turning up. If you want to see an un-shiney one, go to the Photo Album & have a look at the "Scabby Coupe"

This one is good, & i think some of our members will recognise it, but he thinks the new one will be better [see Scabby coupe & engine]
