 Re: me ute I guess this would have originally had the J12 & i'm speculating that the J15 would have come from the mid 60's Datsun Bluebird [P410?] I believe that it was derived from that useless lump of scrap that usually resided in the front of Austin A40's
Datsun engineers turned it into a real motor.
Now, i know i'm a pedantic bastard, & i'm not about to change now. Your Datsun is not a ute,... its a drop-side flat bed truck. The B20 [1000] & B120 [1200] are utes.

 Re: me ute actualy baught it to resell and use the profits to buy me a mig welder but i am starting to like this lil truck we will see. do you think it would kill its originality if i changed the coular to somthing like red or blue my next project was ment to be a 240z after i had finished the 1200 sedan at this rate i will own every datto there is to own

 Re: me ute Any standard solid colour would suit it quite nicely, as long as you don't go with any of the bublegum colours, like bright pink, glowing purple, bright yellow, flouro green,.. you know the stuff. A standard type colour will always fetch more at resale time.
Keep or sell? Well, you gotta ask yourself, how badly do you need a half ton flatbed truck?
