the wagon ended up going for scrap metal after it was used for a bush banger for a couple years until the alternator and carby died. It had no interior, and i pinched all the chrome trims off the front along with the grill and put it on my ute. I went around it a few times, and grabbed a spare panel or two. engine went to another bush banger datto... gearbox went to a coupe...

most of the panels were pretty banged up when we got it. From memory most of the sub frame looked pretty good, but back then i didn't know what i was looking at.

and yeah, we made it every time, even though the ramp was built for motorbikes, so it wasn't half steep enough. worst that happened was just landed on the windscreen, but it stood up to the punishment. i think we managed to clear it a few times too, and land on the board coming down.

it was definately fun!

this is what happens when you get:
a wagon picked up off a verge collection
a couple bored bmx hooligans
school holidays

but yeah, we had fun. This was in the days before i found out the true value of datsuns. If only i had put that thing under cover some place and not touched it. It might be still worth something.
