That's funny.
I sold my B210 drive shaft to a guy that made a similar conversion.
Also sold him a couple of 4 speed trannys.

Dident MGB's come with a straight six at some point? I wouldent hav thought this motor would be a step forward as far as power go's for this car??

Can't say I approve....but on the power front they are probably close. MGBs had 1800cc 4s and the HP varied over the years as smog controls strangled them. MGCs got the 6s and an altered front suspension using torsion bars.

MGB GT's also came in a V8 at one point... dont know how they fitted it in there...

old guy up the road has a V8 version takes it out on the MG club cruises, its a real classic real imaculate! i'll go and ask him what his thoughts on an A-series powered MG, he may frown though! bugger him!!!!!
