Holeee krepp.
I could have my Hemi running real sweet for that, still,... it's one well equiped A series, & if thats what you want, & you can afford it, then good fortune to you.
How much extra for an alloy oil pan?
Chris

Is your engine a post '73 type?
I seek an early type alloy wet sump.[pre '74] These things actually were made, & the Datsun part number is 11110- H2310 for the whole assembly.

Can anyone help here?
I pay an honest price for the right part, so the word "cheap" does not appear in my "wanted" requests.

AU$15,000 , and you don't even get carbies? Oh man!

You can get a R32 GTR for less than that!

There must be some REAL 1200 enthusiasts in Japan!

Imagine a CA18DET with $15k spent on it. It would definitely have 600HP.

But I guess if you race in a class that requires the original engine, then what choice do you have.

Thanks for posting this. It makes my CA conversion seem like a great idea.

It's expensive, but look what you're getting! I've also lost sleep and been caught daydreaming thinking about this beautiful array of A series parts.....An externally adjustable race cam, forged high comp. slugs, race prepped and lightened crank and rods, fully ported and polished GX head with oversize valves and dual springs, what looks like a brand new block that I'm sure is race prepped, some nice little pushrods and lifters...I can't wait to see what one of those little engines can do! I actually talked to a Japanese 1200 owner that I met through the Pit Road site, who was telling me about his friends A series engine that revs to 9,000 rpm and does low 13's in the quarter mile! I will be moving to Japan next summer, and will be living about 2 hours from Pit Road, and just down the street from another Datsun 1200 specialty shop...can't wait to show off my USA 1200! I just hope the gov't doesn't have a restriction on my A15 that's in there! Oh well, I'll just have to buy one of these little race prepped A14's for it heheheheh

It looks abit like my engine when its in pieces.
Except for that lovely cam.
I've spend over $12 500 Aus on my A14-15 so far and it hasn't even fired a shot yet.
Though this includes the twin 40's and mine has roller rockers also.

$12500 on an Aseries!!! bloody hell it must be serious. I spent $6000 on my old A14 race engine around 150-160hp and I though that was enough. I have spent close to $10000 on my ca18 to get it to produce just over 400hp
