This is a deeper version of what I've seen before, I have no idea where it has originated from..

76-78 F10, it's a stock piece.
only gives you a 4 qt. oil capacity.

It is definately not a stock one it is more likely a Tomei race sump for the Cherries etc... I know where theres one of these cut and shut with wings for use in a 1200 coupe...

actually....................
I can't say for other parts of the world, but here in the US, it was used on the F10, each and every one.
I think the other one you are refering to is the NISMO 6 qt. pan. the big difference is the depth of the sump in that this one is several inches longer.
AND for what it's worth there is a wrecking yard here that has 2 or 3 on complete A14s
IF you really have to have one, I can arrange it.
Please remember that the F10/Cherry was a front wheel drive car.

Yep your right, I confused this photo with another one I had posted of a similar sump, the Nismo/tomei one is about 50mm deeper.

 Re: Alloy Sump
This looks a lot like a sump for an industrial application. Fork lifts have crankshaft centerlines up about hip height & that leaves plenty of vertical room for an oil pan like this.
Think about it though, we have opposing requirements in "sport" driving An oil pan like this gives plenty of volume & minimises oil sloshing like nothing else, but we also need a very low center of gravity, & it simply aint going to happen with this thing.

So thats my view, it's an industrial application pan.
