Re: heavy duty exedy i'm guessing thats it an old gearbox shaft used to align the clutch,
has it been oxy'ed or is it snapped?

Re: heavy duty exedy use this in my car. works fine, even clutch kicking it around corners. after 12 months of use it still looked new when i pulled it apart. my gearbox is a little notchy now after 150bhp. once the build is finished i will limit it to 180bhp and see how the stock box likes that.

Re: heavy duty exedy Quote: yeah she is still running the 4 speed 56a Don't replace it yet. Use it until it breaks.I am curious how long a 56a will last with turbo A12 power.

Re: heavy duty exedy This is the same clutch that I am planing on using for my turboed A15. From the research that I did, the exedy unit would do the job well.
You should have no problems. If all else fails, you can get the flywheel drilled for a 200mm clutch, which is what i should have done when I had my flywheel made up. Ah well...
