Re: Strut Top i thought that the rubber on the standard tops was there to give it abit of movement so that when the suspension travels it can flex the rubber and not the top of the strut insert ,is this making sense or will i get over this when i lower the car and or put a thin peice of rubber on each side of the top ??
i was also thinking that i could maybe just drill the hole and then put a countersink in each side of the top to allow for the top to tilt

Re: Strut Top The factory strut top is not only rubber cushioned, but has a metal spherical bearing, so the strut shaft can swing a little bit.

Re: Strut Top My brother and I got together on this one. I have the original drawings that we did in AutoCAD if you need them. We made a few minor changes from the drawings.

Re: Strut Top So this is a sold piece of aluminum with the stut-mounting hole in the strategic location? Seems foolproof.

Re: Strut Top Hi angrywabbit
I stole your idea to my 1200 front
suspension but I add another hole in the
middle original place so I can test the
difference .
