Here is how the rods have to be fitted. The holes are not in the right place so the end one will have to be filled & redrilled, but apart from that, the angles look pretty good when you fit them on the parallel holes instead of the diagonal (stock) position.

Thanks for the pics Dan. I will have a look under my coupe to check if its right for you to go ahead. Something doesnt look right with the mounting but I will check for you - it was over 5 years ago that I set mine up.
Pics are difficult because I dont own a digi cam but will ask a mate to take pics for you if possible.

Hmmmm maybe no advantages yet because Dan and I are still trying to identify exactly which Torana castor rods I have in my rally coupe. I was sure they were LJ torana ones but the mods were done years ago so my memory is struggling
LJ (if thats the right ones) offer more castor adjustment and are stronger for rally. I am not too sure if other mods to the stock set up are required because the front end of my coupe was highly modified before the LJ (?) rods were fitted.
As LB has already mentioned - heavy duty castor rods are not necessary unless you intend rally use or other abuse.
Updates once we figure it out I guess!

Once I got the stanza front end in there was only 0.7 deg of castor. I am not sure what the factory specs are supposed to be but that isn't enough to be stable at speed. the ute feels pretty sketchy at 140km/h, so this upgrade (if I can get it to work) should be an improvement to pretty much any 1200.
