Another photo of the b10 coming down the straight. There was a Hillman 'Imp' in this race, much to the amusement of my dad.

Hey I know they may look like anything but a race car however the Hillman Imp has a pretty amazing race history. All alloy motor etc. You would have to build a pretty good B10 to beat this one:

Yeah I've seen that blue Imp racing, it's very impressive.

Yes Imps were every bit as good as the Cooper Ss in their day, they had an all alloy copy of the Coventry Climax, the Rootes competition department just never made the most of their potential.
