Since tens_and_twenties is an active member, I don't mind the occasional picture of his 510 ... but tens_and_twenties, you should move it to your own Members album

tens_and_twenties is in USA, where we got the 2-dr & 4-dr sedan and wagon P510s. We did not get the "coupe" (Slant-rear window 2-dr a.k.a. Bluebird Coupe).

Keep it original, it looks nice. Not my favorite color, but I like it still ...

I don't love the color, but this is my 6th 510, and it's the same color as my first.

And it will stay 100% original. No chopping to be done here...

Oh, and sorry I clogged up the 1200 airwaves with my lowly 1600.

tens_and_twenties I dig your new car, few might not love the colour, even you included, but ultimately it still looks cool and would be fun to cruise in.
As for clogging up the 1200 airwaves, I am here for you!
You have your love of 1600's
I have my love of 1000's
but at the end of the day we can both say that we love 1200's and proudly drive them when we own them.

John let me drive this car yesterday. I love it! I had the dopiest grin on my face the whole time! I just wish I'd found it before starting on my Mini-Pearl project. My mom would look good in that car!

I agree - beautiful car!! What a find!

Even with white wall tyres - sweet. And I don't mind the colour either...

 Re: My new 510 (1600)
i actually would really like a 1600, but in nz a 16 is even rare than a 1200, such a shame, the thing i like about them is the fact that they go heaps lower in the back compared to a 1200 and are able to fit bigger wheels, 17s easily. great example you have here.

 Re: My new 510 (1600)
those are probably the most legendary datsun.
years ago a mate had one with an L20 and on 12" wheels, I think it had been rallied and the seller kept the wheels and shoved some old 12's on to sell it on,
I think it shortened the ratios like a drag car because it was a V8 slayer, left me behind in a 351 (5.8) fairlane
