I have one of these. I reckon I have too many repair manuals.

You CAN'T have too many repair manuals & i don't have a good example of this edition, but a near mint one will show up eventually.

Gregories bought Scientific Publications years ago & kept right on printing, but with the Gregories logo instead. Some books have both names on them.

I ahev the gregorys version and this version.
From what I have seen, they are both the same.. slightly different formatting in some spots.

Good the hear they are the same....I was thinking of buying a Gregory's version just to see the difference.

I have the Gregory's version of the B310 Sunny (for the A15 bits)

These manuals are good, orig nissan ones are better, only in the fact they are specific to the make and model, gregorys/scientific tend to be more of a cut and paste job. But it is always handy to have as much information as possible, that way if one manual doesnt explain everything clearly another might

For popular models, these manuals came out in both hard cover & soft cover versions. The 1000/ 1200 book qualified & there was one hard cover version & two soft cover versions that i know of. All were publication No. 87.

These books were written for the home maintainer/ repairer with good illustrations & pictures while factory manuals were more focused towards qualified tradesmen in professional workshops & they contained a lot of stuff that most home maintainers don't want to know, or can't use. I buy them all.

P.S. The engine & trans on the cover is from a 1969 or '70 Datsun 1000 Deluxe four door sedan.
