Re: a14 auto to manual The holes are not evenly spaced. Sit the flywheel on the crank and rotate it around slowly. You will see when it matches all holes at once.

Re: a14 auto to manual Cable_Tie's got it ritht.
1st, make sure that the spacer for the automatic is off the crank.
2nd, make sure that there is a pilot bushing in the crank.
3rd, rotate flywheel untill all 6 holes line up.
4th, you may want to drill out the 6 holes in the 1200 flywheel just a bit. .5mm should be enough. 1200 flywheel bolts are 9.45mm across the threads. The A14 flywheel bolts are 9.86mm across the threads.
I had the flywheel bolts shear off when a friend was driving the converted rally car during an autocross. Didn't think an A15 with 1200GX head and SU's could survive WOT without even a flywheel... but it did. This car had a lightened 1200 flywheel on a A15. Seemed like the bolts were a bit tight going in. Had the bolts in a bind. After drilling out the flywheel holes everything bolted back together and worked for 2 more seasons of autocross.

Many thanks cable_tie, it was a spacer and not a different crankshaft. lool
