I used the stock A12 throttle wheel off the old carb with the stock accelerator cable and used some pieces of metal to make a bracket to hold the stock cable clamp

Cool. That may be the first pictue of linkage posted here.

The DGAS looks quite different from the 32/36.

I should add I had to trim the stock throttle wheel with an angle grinder to remove the material that was fouling on the throttle stop bar and bolt attatching it to the spindle. But all in all the hardest part was making the cable clamp bracket and bending it to the right shape, no matter how hard you try to do a top job it always seems to be backyardish

It looks far more sturdy than how I did it. I used a loop of thin aluminum strap. It looked like it would break but ran for years even so.

We should post our dodgy looking setups I made mine the other week so I could remove the rocker cover if I had to as the cable was just zip-tied to it

Nice look at the DGAS.....

about the dog set ups.......in my flinstone days....better not get in there.....it is amazing to think that I got away with that.....Fred Flinstone on the road!!!!
