Can someone tell me why he used a suzuki swift engine rather dan the standard toyota engine.

p.s. is the swift engine producing more power dan a toyota engine.

He wanted to stay in the 1300cc class and the suzuki swift is one of the few 16 valve 1300cc engines available in NZ.

The car following is a Toyota Starlet running a suzuki swift engine and was built with "no expence spared" budget, nice to be in front & beat it on a regular basis in a A series Nissan!
