This is my old 1200 race car. Unfortunately it never got properly finished & I had to sell itafter only a couple of drives. It had a SR20de with Quad Throttle Bodies, 12.5:1 Pistons, Autronic ECU etc. It was dyno'd at 237hp @ Flywheel & it still had to be run in & tuned properly.

Bloody Hell how do you let go something you haven't finished yet....I have tears now...It would've been a very satisfying car to drive.

ah man, that is really a sweet racecar. I bet the motor would have sounded crisp too. we forgive you by the way.(only just :P) buy it back!!

Oh man! must have been hearth wrenching to get rid of that car, datsun 1200, nice body, suspension, SR20 engine, what else could you ask for?

It's my old 1200 club car. Is it so hard to believe??

The engine was built by Phil Ryall in Sydney. I couldn't afford to finish it so had to sell it & I regret it too.

I now have a 1600 club car which I will start competing in later in the year. It's in my avatar.

Yes it is my first post and I thought you guys might like to see something a little different. Also I can't start posting here with 50 posts. You have to start some where

I only just found the site this morning as I'm thinking about buying another 1200 coupe to build as a road car.
