Ok guys, car is 1972 4 door. CA18DET with race cams, GT2871R turbo, S14 Silvia 5 speed with .864 5th gear ratio to give 139m.p.h at end of our straight. 15x205/50, 4.11 ratio H165 locked rear. Skyline GTR 4 pot fronts, U12 Bluebird disc rears with bias in car. Rear doors removed & just outer skins to save weight. Fr doors lightened. Cage thru to strut towers. 300zx struts, double anti roll bar fr. 4 link rear & watts linkage to locked H165. Lexan windows except fr screen. Fr bumper is Nissan Primera, has undertray back to fr wheels for downforce & front lip. Currently with new motor waiting for adj cam gears to be fitted, yet to bed in. Last motor threw out rod @ about 7,800 in 5th which left hole in block & 2 holes in new sump as well as a multi piece rod & piston. It breaks axles & has broken 2 gearboxes also. Yep, as the sgn on the back says "shes a wild ride".

Yep she's a "budget" 2 door, a 4 door with no rear doors, just outer skins to save weight. L/H was replaced with a hand rolled skin after an impossible late braking attempt by a Commodore a few years ago, thats why l/h side looks like a 2 door

Looks like it can handle cornering with its eyes closed

Looks really tough!

I reckon a 4 door, without the rear doors
(similar to this) but with longer front doors would look really good.

cheers

Yes, 2-dr sedans have longer doors -- the same length as the Coupe (they use the same door lower half as the coupe).

The practical difference between a "tudor" and a factory 2-dr (other than door length) is the shape of the rear side glass. This one here looks more like Datsun 510 (1600) glass. The 2-dr 1200 has a rounded instead of sharp shape.

I think I like this glass shape better than the real 2-dr.

I always knew those datsun engineers and I had something in common.
