E15 elecy dizzy on late block. beattie 2007/1/29 10:09 Tell a friend 2842 5 0.00 (0 votes)
Well the first time i did the E15 dizzy swap was onto a early A12. Now i have a A15, the slot i made doesnt line up. So i used the dizzy 'clamp' off a Mini. it fits perfect onto the round part of the E15 dizzy(once all the original adjuster plate is ground down) and the hole lines up perfect into the datto block! |

Re: E15 elecy dizzy on late block. A15's have elecy ignition already dont they? So probably no gain. I made this elecy dizzy up for my A12, which had a points dizzy and my A15 didnt come with a dizzy.
It also eliminates the problem where the vac advance unit hits the head. You just need to re-order the plug wires, easy as!
Yeh check out that wiki page or look for the pic in my gallery called "Elecy ignition, easy as!" Thats kind of part 1.
