Yup, torque like a turbo diesel. You really notice the extra punch down low. My girlfriend's nissan micra (approx 950kg) broke down the other day & i had to tow it up a reasonably steep hill (probably 1 in 5 incline)- Half throttle, 3-4 psi of boost at 2000 rpm in 4th and it just chugged its way up, happy as larry

Clearance is fine all round...... or would be with a standard ramflow for a dgv. the filter that's on there was originally for the stock carb, & (to cut a long story short) I had to hack it and add an adapter that is about an inch high (bits of filing cabinet rail, welded together). So the overall height is marginal & I have a little bump in the bonnet, but tyhat is only cos the air filter is an inch higher than it was supposed to be.

I will try and get some dyno or 1/4 mile times out of it soon. At the moment I am trying to work out how to rig up a home made water meth injection. Thinking of running a pressure vessel (old gas cylinder or the like) with a 12v tyre pump attached running 60-100psi, then rig up an electric switch from the throttle to actuate. needs a bit more thought & research tho.
