yeah its getting there, didnt get as much work done over easter as i would have liked but the front ends all kinda finished on it
just gotta get some more RHS to finish the chassis rails so i can make gearbox crossmember

spent most of the time on the sedan, got the R31 diff in, so now have discs all round and a 22mm rear swaybar.....yes its big
came out way under budget on the diff though as i only had to change the flange on my h165 one and it bolted straight up(sorta)

Im gonna start doing a disc conversion, Ive got R31 rear discs and backing plates, S3 TRX calipers without h/brake stuff all going onto a locked Ke55 diff.

geez, if you were going to use a h165 i could have swaped backing plates with you, mine are all setup for the datsun diffs

the bluebird calipers would be the same as commo ones then i guess.....think you need the skyline caliper bracket so that they will go onto the caliper mount

 Re: V6 IRS ute
I was almost going to use a H165 from a stanza to get some more width to fill the flares, but the corolla diff sits on the leafs nice so thats easier its a bit wider than the standard dato diff too, just have to work out tailshaft, Im hoping the dato borgy tailshaft fits the corolla borgy diff.

The TRX Calipers fit on the R31 bracket no worries, all I have to do is get the spacing right so it all lines up.

Cool, Im using an auto 1200 borg warner tailshaft at the moment so It all should bolt in as long as the nose of the corolla diff isnt longer than the datsun one.

it will be, as the 1200s have the small BW and the KE30s onwards have the bigger one
well id assume the bigger one would be longer...think they are different flanges from small to big aswell, might take some measurements tomorrow of the few i have

stanza tailshaft works well as a start when cutting one down
