when i built it,many years ago,i had put in new shocks and sent it to a suspension shop to get the leaf springs lowered to suit the rims and to still be daily.

VB10 you can remove the leaf spring (EDIT: the transverse spring at the front) and get it reset or re-rolled by a professional. It pretty much means changing the curved tension of the spring.

Any sheet metal fabricator should have a plate roller you can use.

There is also a rubber bush that sits under the front leaf. You can A) remove it or B) trim it down a little. They seem to be pretty sagged down after 40yrs tho, i didnt have to touch mine on the red wag, was just a nice height when i found out my tyre setup.
