This is light truck my Dad had.
NISSAN  HOMER  1 1/4 TON  TRUCK
This truck is a bit of a mystery to me. This photo is from Nissan's company prospectus booklet from 1969. The caption under the photo says 'Nissan Homer ...1595cc 81hp'. The engine would be the R series engine. I don't understand why they would call it a Nissan Homer when in the same year they had a truck with the same engine called a Datsun Homer. The other thing is that it doesn't look like a Datsun, or a Prince. It's rather dinky styling looks similar to Cony's, which became part of the Nissan group in 1965. It was also available as a bus, called the Nissan Clipper Light Coach
