I'm always wondering about these kind of conversions. I would do it myself, just to be clear, but one never actually increases the diameter of the bolts holding these things to the strut. Would there not come a point where this will become an issue? Maybe not here, but when you for instance use adapter plates on the standard struts for bigger clamps.

Where it struck me again, is that one wants to push 200kw through the same bolts, that holds the x-member to the chassis, that used to only have to tame 60kw's odd... I guess we'll get beyond that hurdle if it ever becomes one...

Any idea if this would affect your wheel track and if so, how much?
