If you go DD you can get the diff out off that white bluebird in the background, it has the h165 with alloy carrier.

I'm not sure if you're allowed inside. Besides, they'd kick you out for drooling all over that Coupe...

The guy who got those photos is a Nissan employee. It might not hurt to call their headquarters in Southern California and ask?

I'm sure if you bring a mint steering wheel "D", a cig lighter, glovebox handle thing, and a gas pedal rubber piece... they might let you in.

Man you have an eagle eye. I was thinking the little back plastic rivets are missing from the kick panels.

There's a mint steering wheel for sale on Yahoo Japan!

The pics that 10's&20's posted originally came from a website account of a car club visit to the Nissan USA historic warehouse in Gardena, CA.

Besides Nissan special events, only car clubs and VIP's are admitted and then only on an appointment basis during certain days of the year.

This is basically a mothball collection of low mileage museum cars and historic race cars that are awaiting a permanant facility to be built.

The "Dream Car Garage" name was coined by a desperate ad camaign for Nissan USA during the late 1990's.

The irony was that here was garage full of varied and interesting vehicles in contrast to Nissan's boring and minescule, five model USA lineup.

The Japanese guy, a cross between Mr. K and Mr. Miyagi, with the terrier is symbolic of the "heart" of Nissan, still ticking but in need of a transplant.

Click on the image for the link to datsun.org and click to see the promotional materials:

The yellow 240Z is actually Mr. K's original driver. The green 510 you'll see was a super clean stocker owned by a friend of mine, emphasis on "was" since the car is now "gone."
