the new 300zx rear brakes, just fit inside trx rims....well they will once the disc is machined down to 290mm and the back of the spokes ground down a bit on the rims

but they are huge

wow these discs are really hard...took about a half hour to machine that 7mm off the diameter, 4th lathe tool did the job though

so they will be going on tomorrow if i have time for some on car pics

then i attack the TRX rims with the grinder

thats it. youve gone brake mad!

black ban on the brakes.

build yourself a tuff L donk, and finish off your paint job already!!

stanza brakes are so under-rated!

once you've finished on the trx rims you can start work on a rear set up to suit the h165 in my sedan !!!

nah ANGE thats the reason that i bought these, i CANNOT physically fit larger brakes in the car

so now i cant spend any more money on the brakes, i can only build kits to sell to fund said building of tuff L series

EDIT: yeah adrian i might need to borrow some wheels from you to see what these brakes will fit in
i'll find some smaller discs for you, then i could start on a kit

I'll have to trawl down to Geelong one day and see these monster brakes....I bet one track day in my coupe and I'll be begging for bigger....but under 13" rims which might make it somewhat harder.

if you must
the skyline rims are just sittin there, the 13's will have tyres on them by tomorrow night and it's not too difficult to get one of the white ones off the sedan ....
what are you doing in the way of a handbrake ??

handbrake????
might be looking into a hydraulic one some day, or there is the one that datsports uses for their kit....not really a hig priority right now as i didnt have the r31 handbrake setup

i now know where i can get the calipers for $60-80....found them after i'd payed twice that for these
so once i find a 260ish mm disc that has enough of an offset for the rear then ill be able to make some that fit under 13s

oh and the other 5 stud wheels are definatly out....even with the spacers the brakes didnt come close to fitting, so its back to the trusty trexys
