 Re: A15 EFI/turbo setup
Sorry for the super delayed response, I'm in the middle of my move to go over there. I had to drop off my 1200 in Dallas Texas to be shipped over...it'll get there on 24 July. I just got my Autometer Carbon Fiber guage cups for it in the mail today too! Anyway, I got ahold of my EFI from a guy over in Australia a few years ago in the "first" Datsun 1200 club...when we only had about 50 members. I do have bad news though, my dad stole the exhaust manifold I planned on using and put it on his 'resto' 1200. So now I have to find another one. The one I had was off a 79 210 A14, it had three bolt/studs for the pipe and was more tubular shaped and had no EGR/emissions plumbing on it....anyone have something like this? I'll try to take a picture tomorrow of what I am looking for. I really don't want to have to go with a custom job over in Japan ($$$$). I did get the Haltech F10A in the mail for the EFI...I can't wait to try it all out! Talk to you guys later! oh yeah I should be in Japan on 27 June.

I am unsure what this manifold came off of, but from what others in the club have said, Japan only B310's had them, you'd know them as 79-82 210's in the US....of course here all those cars had emissions and smog equipment taking up more room than the engine itself and cheesy carburetors! I'm going to do some research when I move to Japan to find out what these came off of...I'll probably buy a few.

Hey Hey, rub it in why don't you!!

You're lucky to be going over there for work, especially in a US military capacity, it's easy to learn some japanese and blend in with all of your mates around. I'd have to go over there on my own, then find a job and it would be much harder..I think.

Chris.
