this is my engine nearing completion by a champion bloke, feral :)...the block is the same colour as my car, the engine will be going into a black engine bay :)

Yeah the motor will stand out ! esspacially in the black engine bay

p.s the flash makes the colour abit fluro

The colour is less fluoro under natural light. It is "Datsun red" from the Duplicolour range.

The colour is less fluoro under natural light. It is "Datsun red" from the Duplicolour range.

All rotating and reciprocating parts including clutch and pressure plate and crank pulley have been balanced, bearing crush on mains and big ends done, ring gaps done etc.

The engine is being assembled to maximum factory tollerances. The ported GX head and cam should make it very smooth and sweet!

It's all looking pretty fancy. Did you steal some paint from the local council's road workers or something..I haven't seen a colour like that since 1988 when flouro coloured polo shirts were in fashion..
