A new toy has arrived and will be an interesting project for a while! IPRA log booked and ready to race after some TLC - should be fun!!

Nice B! I think a worked L series or N/A fj20 with twin webbers or quad throttles bodies would be quite adiquit to make this little beastie get up and boogie'

I have an FJ20 that would slot in nicely under the bonnet Geoff

 Re: New Toy
Thanks Datman but I can't afford to step up to your budget
The 180B is a Victorian car, logbooked as IPRA but needs a bit of tidying up before debut.
It has an L20 with webers and a 260Z close ratio box. Datrally adjustable front end, with fully adjustable (camber, castor and toe) rear end - funny to see that neg camber on the rear after all these years of live axle
The engine is claimed to have about 30 RWHP more than my current engine so I have bought the car for an engine upgrade in my car. Dyno day tomorrow will tell if we change engines or not Still, will be a fun thing while I tidy it up - maybe the Dog can lease a drive
I will post a couple of pics but it will be more for a before / after record than anything else - was owned by guys that believed "pretty" is over rated
Cheers

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder..
I'm surprised no one has ever explained that to you considering you drive a 120Y :)
but seriously 180b's can look terrible, and i never used to be a fan of them but they do grow on you, i'm sure even 120Ys do too given enough time

 Re: New Toy
Good news came from the dyno today
Looks like the 1200 will be getting another 30 rwhp soon Very happy with the figure - pretty much what I thought it would be when I bought the car. Can't wait to try it out in the lightweight 1200
Cheers
