 Re: Australia-Assembled Sedan For our non Aussie members. That plate on the right in the picture is the 'compliance plate' that is writen about from time to time. It would seem that this particular vehicle is certified to comply with 21 different Australian Desugn Rules [ADR's]
The STUL suffix seems to break down as follows. S= Standard model [No indication means DeLuxe T= Manual trans. An 'A' in this position would obviously indicate an Auto trans. U= Right drive. [Left drive cars use the letter 'L' as a prefix, .. ie LB110] L= Could not find any reference to this in any factory publication that I have, but this is probably the code for cars built within Australia from a CKD kit.
